First of all, I want to say this is not a Mac vs. PC review. People can get a little crazy about their reviews and preferences, and I want to state that this is just that - a review. My decision to buy a Mac was a preference - there is not just one computer out there that is right for everyone. I also want to note that I upgraded to 4 GB of RAM and a 250 GB hard drive.

This line problem ha been going on for quite some time now. It has worsened since I dropped it. Aside from the screen problem it suffers from the “freezing syndrome”, it’ll freeze up on me at random moments. Sometimes it’ll do this right away. If there is anyone who can help me, I’d be more than obliged.

This laptop has proven to be a very good purchase. This is the laptop I bought in the last 2 months. One for my son and one for my daughter. Both love the fact that has a small form factor, lightweight, but not as small as a netbook.
But as other commentators have pointed out, the laptop slugish seems right out of the box until the Aero is disabled and uninstalled all the crapware.
